FF-2457I teach poetry and revision the way I was taught by my mentors and teachers: Jody Gladding, Jen Bervin, Leslie Ullman, Richard Jackson, and Ralph Angel. Recitation and close examination of imagery, word choice, and line integrity are central to my poetry-revision discipline. I teach kids and teens in much the same way, but using creative games and prompts at Writopia Lab. I also freelance as an editor of medical and scientific writing; for more information visit my Mediabistro profile.
