I take creative approaches to deepening the practice of writing through group workshops and individual instruction for writers of all ages. Using writing exercises and games, suggested readings, and collaborative revision strategies, I focus on engaging my students’ voices and natural self-expression. My students have been published in literary journals, won national recognition for their writing, and been accepted to prestigious writing programs.
I make it fun: student-centered writing and reading help for grades 6 and up. Assistance with English coursework, essay-writing instruction, and mentorship for young creative writers. Contact me for a free, half-hour trial session.

While not a “literary art,” this creative discipline inspires wonderful storytelling and poetic flavors. For groups of up to 5 people, start with a tour of a local Indian market for ingredients and then prepare a meal with hands-on cooking instruction. My flat-rate teaching fee is $300, and the ingredients’ cost depends on your menu. Email me for more details.
